Which editions are listed?

Two digital editions: Standard and Digital Deluxe. The PS Store listing checked on October 12, 2026 shows Standard at US$59.99 and Digital Deluxe at US$69.99, and the Steam US listing carries the same price pair.

This page covers the digital tiers only. Discs, boxes, vouchers, and seller checks belong to the physical edition guide — the two pages are deliberately split, not duplicated.

Last checked: October 12, 2026.

Edition Price (US listing) Contents
Standard Edition $59.99 Full game
Digital Deluxe Edition $69.99 Full game, Wulin Legend, Blood-Steel Form, digital artbook, digital soundtrack (OST)
Deluxe Upgrade (DLC) $10.00 The Deluxe extras on top of a Standard copy — Steam lists it separately

Both are pre-orderable now, and both platforms list the game for release on October 29, 2026 — see our release time guide for the hour and how it lands on October 28 in the Americas.

What does the Digital Deluxe add?

The deluxe tier bundles two named appearances and two digital extras on top of the game:

  • Wulin Legend — an appearance tied to the Wulin setting.
  • Blood-Steel Form — a second named appearance.
  • Digital artbook — a companion art collection, digital only.
  • Digital soundtrack (OST) — the score as a digital album.

Nothing in the deluxe list changes combat, difficulty, or content access: the ten-dollar difference buys cosmetics, art, and music. Our outfits guide covers the named appearances and how they relate to the early-unlock outfit.

That distinction matters when you compare this game with a deluxe tier that includes a season pass or early access. Here, the store listing shows no gameplay entitlement attached to deluxe.

Edition contents compared

Content Standard Digital Deluxe
Full game Yes Yes
Wulin Legend — Yes
Blood-Steel Form — Yes
Digital artbook — Yes
Digital soundtrack (OST) — Yes
Pre-order early unlock (Treasure Basin, Legacy) Yes, if pre-ordered Yes, if pre-ordered

Phantom Blade Zero pre-order bonuses explained

The pre-order list is separate from the edition list, and mixing the two up is the most common purchase mistake around this launch:

Item Type Detail from the listing
Treasure Basin Accessory Increases Remnant Dust drop rate by 10%
Legacy Outfit Early unlock appearance

Both carry the same footnote on the store page: they can also be obtained through in-game progression. So they are a head start rather than content you lose by buying later — worth knowing if you are deciding whether to pre-order at all.

On Epic, the store page adds a separate gift-with-purchase promotion: buying there grants the Soul Outfit plus the Sanguine Pickaxe and Back Bling in Fortnite. That is a store promotion, not an edition entitlement, and our outfits guide tracks its conditions.

Which edition should you buy?

If you want Pick
The game only, at the lowest listed price Standard
The two named appearances plus art and music files Digital Deluxe
Fortnite cosmetics with the purchase Buy on Epic (promotion applies there)
A disc or collector's box Nothing yet — no disc edition announced

A ten-dollar gap for two appearances plus an artbook and soundtrack is a cosmetic purchase decision, not a content-completeness one. If you never open digital artbooks, Standard loses you no gameplay.

Platform purchase notes

  • Steam: the US listing shows the same $59.99 and $69.99 pair. Storefront features, languages, and Steam Deck status are tracked in the Steam guide.
  • PS5: Standard and Digital Deluxe are listed on the store, with the console version noted as PS5 Pro Enhanced. Hardware and requirement detail lives in the platforms guide.
  • Epic Games Store: pre-purchase page with the Fortnite gift-with-purchase noted above.
